Lead Qualification Quiz: Score Fit Without Wasting the Visitor’s Time

A lead qualification quiz should help both sides: the business learns whether a prospect fits, and the prospect receives a clearer next step.

Editorial note: This guide is independent. Product features, integrations and pricing can change; verify time-sensitive details with the vendor before purchasing.

Define qualified

Translate sales criteria into observable or declared signals such as business type, need, timeline, scale or required capability. Avoid collecting information that sales will not use.

Separate fit from intent

A visitor can be a strong fit with low current intent, or high intent with poor fit. Treat these dimensions separately when routing.

Use transparent questions

People answer more accurately when they understand what is being asked and why. Avoid manipulative qualification tricks.

Create useful routes

Qualified leads may see a booking path, while other visitors receive self-serve resources, a waitlist, another offer or a clear explanation of fit.

Measure sales quality

Track accepted leads, conversion and revenue where possible—not only quiz completion or booked calls.
