How RightMessage Works: Signals, Segments & Personalization
The simplest way to understand RightMessage is as a loop: learn something useful about a visitor, map that information to an audience, adapt the experience and measure the result.
Step 1: collect signals
Signals can come from campaign context, pages viewed, visit history, quiz or survey answers, device or location data, and known ESP/CRM fields. A useful signal explains why a visitor might need a different message or next step.
Step 2: define reusable audiences
RightMessage’s segmentation engine lets marketers combine available data into audience definitions. Instead of recreating “customer,” “beginner” or “high intent” inside every individual campaign, the same audience can be reused.
Step 3: adapt the current website
Matched audiences can receive different copy, images, proof, forms, links, offers or sections. The original page can remain the default for everyone else, so personalization does not require a separate landing page for every audience.
Step 4: collect declared data
Quizzes, surveys and forms can ask questions whose answers change what should happen next. This can be particularly useful when behavior alone cannot reveal the visitor’s goal, experience level or preference.
Step 5: measure and refine
Personalization should be judged by outcomes, not by how many variations exist. Define a conversion goal, test material differences, and remove variations that add complexity without helping.
